Big Bird Sighted | NJPB Forums
5/25/12 ---about 6:43PM, while looking out window - area of Fries Mill Rd and Glassboro Crosskeys Rd, Twp of Washington, saw big bird flying East to West, about 50' high. Had to grab for my eyeglasses, and missed some details. Bird was combination of brown and tan-(impression of barred...

Metal Detector Loan | NJPB Forums
Do any of you have a metal detector I can borrow for a couple hours? I lost a pair of good eyeglasses in the woods by Cedar Creek. I think I know where there are, but they are not revealing themselves to me. They are burnished brown in color and blend right in with the pine needles and leaf...

Attendant said he lived nearby; that “they” pit up temporary bleachers on the Maurice River bridge for bird watches when the Purple Martins come thru. I'd never heard that, found it interesting.

Map | NJPB Forums
You know what we need ? We need a really good, detailed road map, like the kind they used to give out at gas stations, from the 1930s. That way Father Beck's description of where things were would make more sense. The one little problem I have with his descriptions (besides the fact that they...
